Dear Cathy,
 
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide and although we cannot see you,  you are still walking by our side. Our faded photos take us back to many happy school days.
 Our St John Payne school friendship group made our way through secondary school from 10 years up and never a cross word or a falling out. Rara skirts, eye liner and 80’s music we did it all.
You were always there for others. Cathy our protector in the school hallways from the mean girls. Cathy always had your back & wouldn’t let you take any flack.
A truly beautiful soul so loyal and so kind, standing up what is right and good,  tenaciously supporting her friends along the way.
Dear Cathy you were a still protector of your friends even to the very end, shielding us from how very ill you really were.
We are lucky to have had a friend like you. Personal memories of summer days of fun pony riding and tennis lessons take me back.
Our friendship was priceless and we will cherish these memories forever more
Saying goodbye was the hardest thing to do for someone too young. So now we think of you our special friend you are in our thoughts everyday
 I wish I had one more chance to see that cheeky smile with you dear friend for just a little while
Rest softly now dear friend in the knowledge you will live forever in our hearts and in our minds.
